The New Way to earn. advance. progress.
The Genius Foundation is a Christian founded a non-profit organization whose mandate is to empower communities through knowledge acquisition and skills training for the growth and benefit of Uganda and Africa as a whole.
Who We Are
The organization was first registered as Genius Research Centre (now a division of the organization) whose mandate was to spread the love of Christ Jesus in loving service to the community not just by words, but also through deeds. Through empowering youths with skills to earn an income so that they will thrive in society as well as getting to know Jesus Christ. The idea of GRC came into being five years ago in 2013. Then, the founder Junior Joel Papaa had one writer. The maiden office of GRC was located in Ggaba, in 2014, when the organization boasted of seven writers.
It was then that the founder, Mr. Papaa realized his initiative could help empower the youth in a variety of ways. He had seven young people working with him who were not only earning a wage but also acquiring skills in writing and research, technology and social media use. In 2015, he was saved from his sins by Jesus Christ. In his new life of love and service, he moved to expand the horizons of Genius Researchers; hence, the birth of a bigger office with branches in Nakulabye and Kansanga. By this time, GRC had a team of writers totalling to fifteen.
Through the freedom and joy that were birthed by salvation in Jesus Christ, Mr. Papaa sought to touch more youth with his initiative. He engaged the expertise of Pastor Joy Ssemambo, who is the assistant director, to setup a bigger place. This was when he registered TGF as a non-profit organization in April 2017, aiming to give hope to the society. The Foundation is headquartered in Muyenga, Kampala Uganda along Tank-Hill Road. The main office also houses the research and writing department, but downstairs is a Training Centre aimed at empowering youth through knowledge acquisition and skills training. These include computer training, languages, research and writing, and website and graphic design. With the high rates of prostitution, poverty, drug abuse, and general destitution, TGF seeks to impart skills to the youth that will help them survive and contribute to growth and development of not only Uganda, but also Africa.
