Hardships Expose Genius; Success Conceals it.

In the Kingdom of God, you find no idlers: we have to understand that our lives and possessions are gifts from God. No one of us is an absolute owner of wealth; we are only trustees or stewards. Our receiving from Christ is in order to our working for him. Courtesy of The Genius Club, we listen to the voice of our Lord and Savior calling us for the Great Commission.

We once again this year reckoned to the good in our souls, by acknowledging that God will always direct us to the life of another for His purpose and their benefit. It is the real Christian's liberty and privilege to be employed as his Redeemer's servant, in promoting his glory and the good of his people.

Those who think it impossible to please God, and in vain to serve him, will do nothing to purpose in religion. They complain that He requires of them more than they are capable of, and punishes them for what they cannot help. Whatever they may pretend, the fact is, they dislike the character and work of the Lord.

Gratitude to our host Ebenezer Celebration Center Church who with love gave us (The Genius Club) base to reach out to the Njeru community.

Having learnt about this Ministry at Njeru in Buikwe District Central region, A friend with The Genius Club known as Friday Africa connected us to one Juliet Matabi who happens to be a Pastor’s wife. She then welcomed us to her Home and later church premises where we had a meeting with the pastor Ebenezer Celebration Center Church about our Vision and Mission. To summarize, we ended up having a great fellowship, and yes, once again our Gospel Mission was welcomed to Njeru. Njeru is located across River Nile from the city of Jinja surrounded by several industries and businesses.

"When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them,With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:25-26

As planned, we arrived at Njeru for our mission on the 23rd February 2019 with a team of 23 evangelists a journey that took us about three hours form our main offices in Kampala Muyenga. At mid-day, we started to interact with some church members as we learned about the different locations as well as how we had to move around the communities. Later we organized ourselves into two main groups with leaders and guides to see us through the town. Joined with aunty Juliet, the resident pastor’s wife, she further addressed us about the spiritual mapping of the place which revealed the need for the Gospel Message to those who were living a life of uncertainty about the existence of a loving and caring God. With that at the back of our mind, Aunty Juliet Matabi Led us in a word of prayer, and we with the lead of the Holy Spirit left into the neighborhood with the gospel message.

The whole session of evangelism took us three hours and later around 3:00 PM we walked back to the Church premises as victors, given the great harvest that our Lord and savior won for himself through us by the help of the Holy Spirit. As it has always been in the past mission experiences, our gospel message is the old good news as commissioned to us by Jesus Christ;

  • "God loves you, and He has a beautiful plan in your life" (John 3:16; 10:10)
  • "The wages of sin is death" (Romans 3:23; 6:23; see also Isaiah 59:2)
  • "Jesus is the only way to salvation" (John 14:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; 1 Peter 3:18)
  • "Man must receive Jesus as Lord and Savior" (John 1:12; Ephesians 2:8–9; Revelation 3:20)

Gathering records from different team leaders, we ended up with 75 registered names for people who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior. We celebrated the finished work of Christ through us and gave thanks to God the Holy Spirit for such a miracle of transformation. We then left to the pastor's residence a few kilometres away from the church where we were served lunch and then later prayed together to set off back to our offices in Kampala.

To God be the glory and honor forever and ever Amen.
